Just a quick update to remind you all the the public sale of tickets for Train Jam 2019 is starting tomorrow!
Tickets sales will begin on Tuesday, November 27 at 07:00 PT at trainjam2019.eventbrite.com (you can see what this means for your time zone here). Tickets will sell out fast, so please be ready to purchase!
As a reminder, Train Jam 2019 will be taking place from Thursday March 14, 2019 until Saturday March 16, 2019. You can read more about Train Jam 2019’s official announcements here.
If you applied for one Train Jam’s diversity initiatives, you should have heard back from us by now. If you haven’t heard from us, please check your spam folder. Otherwise, please reach out to us at info[at]trainjam[dot]com.
In addition to this reminder, we have a few other announcements we’d like to make:
Audio Room
For the first time ever we will have space on the train for an official sound room! We will have four audio specialists handling the sound room, which anyone can use to record audio or otherwise find sound help. Reach out to @ElieAbraham64 or @MartinKvale for more info!
Dreams
We’re excited to announce that Media Molecule will be riding along on Train Jam 2019 with a few builds of their upcoming game: Dreams! These builds will be available on the train for Train Jam participants to try out, so get ready to play, and build exciting new creations with Media Molecule’s brand new experience, Dreams.
Mentorship
When you purchase a Train Jam 2019 ticket, you will have the option to sign up as a mentor. Mentors will be expected to spend a few hours throughout the course of the jam being available for other jammers to reach out to for advice on different topics. Anyone can sign up to be a mentor, and we will reach out to everyone who signs up to ensure that we have a good spread of different skills and specialties represented.
